Don't bother boosting it unless your gonna race it. Mtx sounds like a good idea.

200 HP is OK with stock internals, unless you are always thrashing it in severe conditions.
But if you tune it and get 250 HP, are you going to tune it back down? Of course not.
The diff will last a long time unless you spin the wheels. Actually, only one tire will spin, and that will puke the spider gears even with a stock engine. More power makes it worse.

LSD helps , for sure.
There were rebuilt trannys supplied by zxtuner that used an Escape's differential. It had 4 spider gears instead of 2, so it was better. It was not limited slip, however.
A common upgrade is the Phantom Grip around here.
Use good trans fluid, not ATF. This helps. Amsoil MTF, Redline MTL, MT90, or a mix of them, or GM or Pennzoil Synchromesh work wonderfully well for shifting and wear/protection.

You also need axles that fit the splines. This is good because our stock ones are weak, anyway. The diff drops right in, but you have to set the bearing preload, of course [just like any new diff].
Rob @zxtuner is the expert, and can supply your needs.
But don't waste his business time if you are just bench racing.

ive done my resaerch and i came up with what im gonna do,i went to mazda to order the dam diff and it ran me around 800 bucks, gonna get the mx3 shafts and mod them so they fit right, and if i can im gonna get the geers hardened, but i was thinking of leaving the clutch oem becouse i would rather let the clutch take the abuse ,its cheaper, what you guys think is there something that i need to know, ive done so much serching that ,i think that this is the only thing that would let me feel better and a little worry free when im rippin
