Sikeston Drag Strip [Archive]

Hey guys! I finally contacted the guy down at the Sikeston Drag Strip in Sikeston, MO. They are closed for the rest of this year. They are supposed to have the new schedule and everything up in Jan and start running in Feb. I am getting put on his mailing list and will try to remember to keep this thread updated. Anyway, when I talked to him he said they have Test and Tune nite, you go and pay $10/run. Not too shabby. It's just one of those nites where people run the shit outta their cars while, duh, tuning them in. Anyway, here is their website addy: http://www.sikestondragstrip.net/

feb? cold weather + low humidity = lower times maybe ill show up. i dont think the track here opens that early.
plus... lamberts is still open right???

as far as i know yes it is. i ate there a couple of months back. still damn good food.

Hell yeah, Lambert's is still open, and yes raven still very damn good food!!! My kid brother and I went a while back, and he raised his hand for a roll, he caught half of it, the other half hit an old lady in the back of the head. LOL. Kinda felt bad for her, but she laughed anyway.

see i was told that it was ten dollars to run all night. for one run i agree that is a rip off.

Okay, I just checked the site a few mins. ago. They have some preseason Test and Tune nites.
Feb. 27, Mar. 7&14.

Any takers? If not, the regular season T-n-T starts Mar. 27th.

i go to the sikeston dragstrip all the time. it is $10 to run all night (as many runs as you want), but only on friday nights.

Well, let me know when you get the new car ready to go! ZX2ner, we will def. need to get you down here too! Red has a new zx2 and I think it'll give you a run for your money...
