Guys I noticed when I pulled a plug wire from cylinder number 4 plug that I had oil around the plug.... Does that mean the valve cover gasket is shot?

Yes, it's not a hard fix either. I need to do it too, it's really common with our cars. Welcome to the site, read the welcome threads.

You can also smear some premium silicon RTV on the gasket to ensure no future leaks.
Sometimes a new gasket by itself seals OK, and sometimes not.
I've never seen so many damn valve cover gasket leaks with any other car besides the ZX2. Listen to mech , put RTV on it so you know it will seal for a while.

Was it a lot of oil? Could be just a VC bolt need tightened.

If it is only a loose bolt, then go buy a lottery ticket that day, because you are the luckiest guy in the world.
Our valve cover gaskets leak, but so do many other cars.

That was the case with my wife's car...although it's a Pontiac, not a ZX2.

Cars with DOHC seem to have the most problem, with the spark plugs in a valley where the oil collects. It's not just ZX2s.
I work on a lot of different cars .. just seems that I see it on zx2's more OFTEN then others, specially mine! lol. Either way , it's an easy fix for most.
