The line can be replaced. I doub that JB will adhere well enough to the aluminum tubing and that is the high pressure side as well.

There is a special tool for the connections. Not sure where you can source one. Check with your Ford dealer. Of course they will want you to bring it in. Some of the auto parts places my be able to help.

Those special connector tools are common and cheap.
You can get a single or a set for under $20.
If you lost oil, you'll have to replace it [you'll see it all over in the engine compt].
Use the proper new type AC oil.
Replacing the line is pretty straightforward. Then you evacuate the system for 1/2 hour, then refill it.
To put a vacuum on the system you'll have to bring it to a place with one , I looked into it last year when i still had AC and it was almost $100 , to vacuum it and put new freeon in w/ oil. But of course you'll have to replace the line first.

That hole can be fixed if the area is really cleaned well.
You can JB weld it, but put a patch of metal over it that follows the contours of the line.
Don't jam JB weld in the hole. Use a little to seal, then re apply with your patch. A hose clamp over the repair should work for a long time.
Of course a new line is best, but this is an option for the do it your selfer low on funds.
