On the old forum several had posted regarding SCT tuners, and how satisfied (or not) they were. I'm looking to buy an XCal3, but, as they don't come with specific tunes for the ZX2 (correct me if I'm wrong), we need custom tunes, even for basicaly stock engines.
How about SCT users re-posting their input regarding the tuners?

Thanks for the reply!
I looked at their website - they seem to have some serious credentials!
Have you any experience with their tunes for ZX2s?

I got mine from LaSota too. They are about 5 minutes from me. They seriously rock out loud.

I assume that "processor code" would be referring to our PCM code?

Yep. I'm getting a used xcal2. It's all I really need as I am mostly stock. I figure buy two tunes, and get it so I can tweak the stuff myself a bit. All I will need for the time being.

XCal3 arrived Monday. Don put in 3 tunes, for regular, mid-grade, and premium. My engine is stock, and with the current cost of fuel, will run regular. Installed the regular tune. Idle speed is increased, as requested. Eliminated the steering wheel shake. Normal acceleration from stop is much nicer. With the AC on the engine runs much better. Can't say there is much more power, but didn't expect that using regular. So far very pleased.
Don at LaSota is really great to work with.

I have the Pro Racer Package. I'd use nothing else now! I did make the mistake back in the day and tried the Greddy E-Manage when I first went turbo!!! Won't make that mistake twice..... The ZX2's learning PCM adapted to the greddy E-manage in about 2 weeks or could have been less.... Live and learn.
Or listen to people on here and GO SCT!!!

What PCM code(s) do you have for your PRP? I ask cause I could use some tweaking on my A/F mix. I have the 6600 Elim. chip. Don Lasota gave me a custom dyno tune. I'm 5 mins. away like zx2guy19. but when I asked what he had set it at he said 12.5/1. THAT'S STOCK!
There was an old thread that Vit said 13.5/1 was best for stock internals on power and fuel. My pcm is a mta7. If you had that program what would you charge to reflash?
Don's not bad, but he wouldn't turn off the speed limiter, either. No prob I had a toggle on it for C/C anyway. He is pricey, though. That's why I ask. Hit me w/ a PM if you could hook sumpin up.
I'm not tryin to jack the tread :puke2:

unless he's a dealer he cant send you files to load on your tuner. and he probably doesn't have a chip burner.

I don't have the dealer PRP so I would not be able to read your flash.
PPL with the PRP do have the ability to save "Values" and apply them to other codes, but each and every X-cal II is locked to a certain PCM and can't flash other pcm's or chips.
But as was stated by Sadcat, the "Value" files can be shared and applied to other tunes, but both people need to have their own PRP.
