how would i get the most out of upgraded injectors? Do i have to have a larger MAF sensor as well? does the computer HAVE to be reflashed, or will i notice power right away? some insight from on the subject would be helpful. My current setup is K&N, free flow intake, 2 1/4 borla, pots mod, and header next week (hopefully). Hoping to get 21 lb venom injectors. ill go half w/ someone, there only 225.00 at jegs for a set of 8.

Totally not worth the money buddy....

Better off getting a cam, or even a UDP

Waste of time and money.
You can't use what you already have, so what good are bigger ones?

You would have to get a tuning solution for the PCM before you changed out fuel injectors. The 19lb ones that are on the car are just fine. To get to the point of actually having to switch out the injectors because you are running out of fuel, you would have to pressurize it, or have a lot of work done to spin it up and make it suck air very well.

Either way, you would peg out the MAF before you would need new injectors.

so, cam and header ftw? i dont want udp cus i got too much power going to the sound system. two 4 ga. cables fueling about 1000 watts rms. maybe clean out the fuel rails cus i dont have too much pull on the top end , you know what, i think its the timing belt. with the vct connected the car idles erraticly. disconected it idles smooth

LoL Okay dude, do what you want.

You might not want to disconnect the VCT solenoid though. Yeah, it might smooth your idle, but without the computer telling the cam where to be, it's flopping around at it's whim. That's really not a good thing.

silent - I hope your POTs mod is on a switch, and not on all the time.

beoduce, the vct when connected it shows that the timing goes from 0 to a negative infinite number. i don't know, thats what it shows on the snap-on mt2500 scanner. no codes though. i changed the timing belt by myself cus the idler pulley next to the crank seized. i lined up the notches on the back of the pulley but i don't know whats going on anymore. nevertheless when i full throttle i cant tell the diff, connected or disconnected.

just buy a turbo or a v6 swap and be done withit, u dont need bigger injectors unless u have higher compression or u are forced induced. i 3" intake, jba/borla exhaust, pnp throttle body, AF/x udp ,fr wires and im putting down 148 hp on the dyno with NO TUNING and FACTORY FUELING.

Get a sct, or turn your system off at idle, ALso a Cap will help with the sound system

no cap there useless.

Get a ODP and a UDP you'll be fine your not pushing that much.

pulleys sound good, but what about the problem w/ the vct? Delete and put adj. cam gears?
