Leathers/etc, what do you ride with?

I'm curious to see what the people who ride, ride in. I had a crappy leather jacket for the last season, I asked my dad to pick me up a jacket for christmas though. It may be the only thing I'm getting, but its worth it. ;) I got a black on black Icon motorhead.

I don't know what I am going to get for pants, it doesn't have any zipper or other attachment for pants.

Gloves, I will be looking at closer to the season starting, same with a new helmet. I am thinking a shoei or an arai for a helmet, though I still need to try them on. I hear great things about both though.

I haven't given much thought to boots yet.

Used to ride with jeans, gloves, my first gear jacket and helmet. When i did dump it, I had none of these on. Just shorts , t shirt , track shoes , and a back pack. I was on my way to the gym. .25 miles away .

Make sure to try on a shitload of helmets before deciding on one. I bought a Scorpion one that looked really cool and stuff online that I thought fit good, but after I tried on a Joe Rocket one, I realized I made a huge mistake not trying on the helmets first. I would say the same with gloves. What fits good for one person isn't for everyone.

IMO, I wouldn't bother with boots either. I haven't found any boots comfortable enough to wear and still be as functional as wearing shoes. You might not be "as safe", but being comfortable and feeling more in control of the bike is a fine trade off to me.

I rocked an icon leather jacket most of the season, with a hooded combat jacket over top, jeans with normal shoes. And ignition leather gloves. I might get some mesh pants next year, cause I got hit in the knee by a bug and it fuckin killed

i rocked an arai helmet, dainese jacket, no name brand gloves, stunt pants, alpline star boots
stunt pants cause the leather pants are too uncomfortable and expensive

Joe Rocket mesh jacket and Joe Rocket gloves. Shoei helmet, t1000 model I believe. I don't have any of that stuff anymore. I usually wore jeans when riding but the day I wrecked I was wearing shorts, hence the reason I lost my leg. If I had been wearing jeans I wouldn't have got a whole bunch of crap in my wound and the infection that took my leg wouldn't have stepped in.
