*sings* I got new lights

My dear wonderful fantastical hubby let me order some studio lighting. I'm still waiting for my background stand and background to show up, but the lights came today and are so much fun!

Since I've never really used studio lighting before, I started off with only two lights, a regular flash, and a ringflash.. and of course the accessories that go with it.

Just messing around in the living room today I snagged a few shots of us all.. I'm so excited!!

Haha.. that's the ringlight.. gives that trippy eyes effect when used straight on :)

The new house is great! I love it! Just finished painting/decorating Taylor's bedroom. Our new furniture, and our Over the range microwave comes in a couple weeks.. then we'll be set!

Im soo jealous of your equipment, although heather has opened up to getting a dslr. Do you know much about the nikon d40? I think im gonna go with canon though so I can interchange the lenses with my inlaws.
