No .gif images are working. I can see the image but they don't move... all the smilies are just standing there, and the .GIF war thread, none of them move. What do I need for it to work? Am I missing something?

wow nobody knows? I mean they worked before for me and ever since the short time that smilies came up as red x's, they don't move....

No one really cares, there are more important things to do, such as check out deals on Woot.com or watch for trolls in the forums...

Seriously, the problem is most likeley the viewer you are using has changed. Either the viewer doesn't support .gif animation or animation is turned off. for example, if I open and animated .gif with the Photopaint module of CorelDraw, I can step through or edit the individual layers, but it won't play unless I start the play function.

:wiz:

Try opening the .gif with Internet Explorer (not Windows Explorer.) it should play. Then check to see what default program you are using to watch videos and animated images.
