I was just wondering if anyone has performed a Dyno Test comparing the ZXTuner's Ultra UDP to Esslinger and/or Powder's UDP? Because on the ZXTuner's site it boasts that their Ultra UDP slows the belt driven accessories down 40 %, where as Esslinger is 25%. ZXTuner's is 80mm and Esslinger's is 100mm. I was also curious if anyone has bought it and the quality of it?

I got the ZXTuner one. It was pretty good. I thought they were the same though? At least, they used to be....

You are not talking a lot - a dyno test varies and the difference would be in the normal variance.
Smaller is better for a bit more power, at the cost of slower accessories [esp the alternator]. Mostly at or near idle is when this matters.

getting the alt. odp as well when you order the ultra udp solves the alt. problem....i think it states on his website that he recommends getting the ODP.

beodude you're thinking about the MAC 100mm one they sell, it's decent quality, just you have to file down the coating on the inside of the crank hole

i got the ultimate underdrive pulley, and the alt overdrive pulley installed on mine.
though, i have not dyno'ed anything. only thing i can tell ya is, its a pain in the ass to get back off once you put it on. the fitment is tight. probaly need to take a rubber millot to it to get it to seat down flush. however, it is awfully small. smaller than the essinger. i was running that one before i fix the crank gear problem which destroyed my essinger btw.

We're accustomed to the Quality and reputation of Powder's Pulley's. Since many claim the different pulley (brands) are enough for them and they're happy with their setup, does anyone here have percentage ratios (specs) between the kind?

Powder's UPD is 75mm.. You're looking at about a 40% reduction in it. I couldn't have been happier with mine and Im looking into getting another for my SVTF.. They rock, esp for the price...

There's a used Esslinger pulley right now on ebay. Seller says they want to upgrade to the "BEST".

I don't believe they're a team member, but own a zetec engine. I asked if the the upgrade ends with an "R" and responded "YES also starts with a "P". I had a feeling it had to be that since there's only one best.
