Ok I hope I am posting in the right place. This weekend I replaced all my ac I vacummed it I recharged works great as long as I use the ccrm fix, I thought to myself I want this right so I went to junk yard got a used ccrm , and check this out the mechanic who did the fix before I knew about it ,put in a 2000 ccrm in my 98 ok. The one from the junkyard was 98 I took it aprt resoidered the unit put it on I amd e asimple quick connect for the ccrm. I unplugged my ccrm fix turned on ac clutch will engage ofr a few secs then shuts off my ac has enough freion. I did notice one thing I put in a new orfice and it is installed corrcetly but I hear it hiss for a sec or too then quit no leaks. I do not know whats going on unless there is more to undoing the ccrm fix then cutting that one wire. I have researched every where and I hoping someone can help. Yes the ac works great as long as I manually cycle it but I paid so much and would love to have it right!!! Any help will be greatly appreciated and if this is the worng place to post this I am sorry Mods :o) One more thing as soon as I pit the 98 ccrm in my cars idle went too baby smooth and one more thing right under the ccrm on the tranny is a male connector that looks to be a grpund for something any ideas I cannot find that connector the dumb mechanic left 3 bolts off the ccrm mounting bracket so I think he might have done something with this connector ??
