so recently i would turn the engine over and start driving no problem until i hit the 2500-3000 rpm range... it felt as if it were boggin down when i hit the gas.(only when the engine is cold) so im all like wtf mate.and im tring to determine if it is a fuel issue or air issue(vacuum leak) well i started something new... I wait for the fuel pump to charge all the way and then I start it and voila no more bogging down... does this make sense??? or am i just getting lucky.

There is no connection by 'charging' or 'priming' the fuel pump.
It is where it will get in a few seconds anyway.
If this problem is only when cold, you may have a coolant sensor that is reading faulty.
It IS possible that the pump is getting weak. A new fuel filter is a good idea at this point.
And of course, our engines don't like any vacuum or intake leaks.
