2'snake between my legs

i went to feed my dog a few days ago and i reach down to pic up his bowl and what slithered between my feet. a 2 foot eastern coral snake! you know the whole red on yellow kill a fellow as poisonous as a cobra....snake. needless to say i pulled a spider man to the back door. feet touched the gound once, when i got inside lol.

lol. in a way im glad no one was around to see me run like a bitch but after i calmed down i thaught to myself how quick would i have been dead if that thing bit me.

I put it in the rubbermaid box in the pic using a hoe and drilled holes in it. i went inside to internet the creature to see if it was venomous. by the time i was done reading about how fast i would have been dead if it had bitten me ,it microwaved inside the container. texas heat wave killed it lol. the strange thing is when i went to check on it (when i discovered it was dead) there were 2 snakes in the box. now being steve irwin for the day i figured it had just eaten the smaller snake and during its hot death it vomited up the other snake. from that point on i felt like a kid again so i poked it with a stick to make sure it was dead. after an hour of poking it i showed my neighbor and told him to watch his kidos when they play outdoors. the end.

QFT, I love garters and black snakes. They do good work keeping vermin(sp?) away.
