Well im nearing the end of my tech school, i have like 3 months left. My mom stated to me that she wants me to at least get my associates... Well it looks like i'll be going to community college after this POS school. Im not sure what i wanna take though. I don't really like graphic design like i thought i should. I need to get into something hands on and always catch my attention. Im the type of person who likes to work with my hands. My dad has always told me to stay away from the automotive business since he has done auto body his whole life so he knows how everything goes.

All i want to do is prevent myself from having a basic job that im not happy with. I need something that will keep me on my feet and that will drive me to get a job and also stick with it too.

What is a good job that is hands on, decent pay and also a good future?

Get your A&P(airframe&powerplant) license. Then get your Associates in Applied science. Thats what I did, now im going for my BA. Aviation is a fun career!

I was going to go into automotive, untill my senior year in HS I took a half a day automotive program at our local CC. Then I realized a vast majority of the people who wanted to go into that field were IDIOTS!!! Im not saying everyone is but I knew I was smarter than them, so I went for aviation. Where you have to really try and study to get your license. And thankfully I made that realization because I am happy and my future looks ALOT better.

That does sound interesting. I believe my cousin did some air craft mechanics for the air force. I think i'll stick to doing automotive or even some kind of machining. I talked to my parents yesterday about switching my major to automotive mechanics. My mom agreed that they should have put me in an automotive school. I should have never let my parents change my mind on what i want to do. They did then same with my sister, she wanted to do architecture and they said it was good, so she started her 1 st semester of college doing teaching and she hated it. Now this month she graduates from a 2 year school of doing architecture.

It is alot of fun. And if you are truely skilled you really should go into Aviaiton, MUCH more money to be made. And we always need good help.
