How do I?

I just bought a short shifter just before the site went down, the guy who I bought it from isn't on here anymore and won't respond to my e-mails, does anyone know to replace the old shifter out and put in the new one? I only know how to swap shifters when replacing the entire tranny!! Which isnt the case here... can anyone help me out?

what do you mean, dont you just take the center consule off and then remove the shifter assy with phillips screwdriver and a 10mm socket?

i dont know to be honest, because i usually work on Toyotas and Im not familiar with the zx2, but if thats all it takes... are you sure all it is, is a 10mm and a screwdriver?

there's short shifters for ATX? lol. news to me. but yeah. center consel comes out with a phillips, and a 10mm as silent said. after that, i have no clue with the ATX. good luck though buddy!

ya with an atx theres not point in changing the shifter. If your talking a mtx then thats a different story
