If anyone has them on their Zx2, could you tell me how they and where they are attached? I need to get a set for my 98, but I want to make sure they can be added.

as far as I know 98s dont have them. if its the same thing as in canada, you need to go to a dealer to get them installed.

Don't have them. Until 2001 (I believe that was the year), they weren't required in cars.

You don't need them if you strap the seat in properly. Just make sure you pull the belt tight after putting the car seat in.

(I have a 5-month old who rides in my ZX2 all the time, so I speak from experience.) ;)

In Canada, these were on 99+ I believe.

the ones in canada were tethers that connects to your rear deck. i went to the dealer and that's all I found because I was looking to do the same thing. As far as the modern "latch car seat feature", someone had a picture of what appeared to be them but no one else seems to have them

you're not talking about the ones that are through the rear deck?

those are called teathers. There is another version in most fords from a certain year that are little loops right next to the seat belt buckles. imo, the tether's aren't all they're cracked up to be. The "latch" car seat systems can fasten down much better in most cases

So any idea if I can retrofit the the more modern anchors into my 98? If so any idea how?

I have the latches some where. I'll look for them for ya. Maybe we can rig something up

I think I know what you mean, but I never saw these in our car. and I don't think you could fit them cuz there is only 1 anchor per side for the "inner" buckle.
