Can I fit a 205/55/16 without rubbing? I am on eibachs and I'd really rather not rub, obviously.. but discounttire and dunlop are BOTH out of 205/50s..

Find another supplier...

That's a lot of sidewall for a 16 and with your drop you may rub the bottom of the spring perches.

I already paid for them.

according to most tire shops the recomended tire size for a 16x7 on our car is a 205-45-16.

45s look like crap. I want 50s, which don't rub or look like rubberbands.

The back looks terrible. I am sick of seeing it.

I just used this and a 205-45-16 is a tad bigger than the stock 195-55-15.
im slammed so ill be using the 45. if wheel gap is the problem than use the 50.
i have 18's right now and and im running the 215-35-18 and it rubs.

I am pretty sure the 45 is smaller than stock, since my speedo reads 4 mph faster than I am really going, and if it was oversized then it would be reading slower.
