Should I just make it look like a EVO

Well im a 100% hater on ALL automatics, but found good deal on a ride.

Car is a 97 Mirage atx 1.5 so it has the smaller engine and all of no get up and go balls. Has some body damage I hear and a few small problems. I dont worry about body cuz I will fix it or anything else of that matter.

Should I just convert the whole exterior to look like a Evo and a clean interior, or try to mess with the engine some for some power? I dont want a HALF assed car again so the mods will come, BUT at a LOT slower pace one at a time. The thing with these cars are, parts are dime a dozen, why because its a damn mitsubishi and shares parts close to evo and lancers.

My plan was to do a complete evo conversion to clean up the body. Then, planned on wrapping my interior and a few fiberglass pieces, but nothing crazy. What do you guys honestly think?

Please dont reply with blah blah blah financial shit, that stuff is in past and we all move up. WooT for salary and FREE rent and utilites and gf working now. So yeah let me know what you all honestly think.

it would be a total waste of money drive this car until you can afford something nicer, I didn't mod my '88 taurus i just drove it id do the same with this thing.

Its a slow ass atx and not worth doing anything but basic maintance on its just a point a to point b type of thing.

Take the few hundred dollars you'd spend on doing the Evo conversion and save it for a better car or just buy something else. Get a nice mountain bike and get into that or something.

I had a 86 LX with the the 2.3 as my FIRST car. It was my first stick shift car as well but the car blew balls. It had NO power and just couldnt drive a stick lol. Sold it for a damn 92 grand am which also sucked balls

Dude, good deals on cars are hard to come by. Its great that someone is offering you a cheap/free vehicle. I donno much about mirages; but it appears they have potential if you can swap the EVO powertrain.

I donno if you have had the pleasure; But I had the pleasure of driving a 05 Evo. It was the most craziest car i've ever driven. If you have the money and time, and ability. I'd go for show, then swap evo internals. Or swap then show. Its your car, do with it as you please; you gotta drive it. Make yourself happy.
