So I took my tranny and differential apart and found a bearing inside my differential that doesn't look to great and I want to replace... It goes right above the Synchro that sits on the top of the dif.... NO NOT BELOW THE VSS... it's not the ball bearing one... the top Synchro spins on it... There are 2 in the Differential... the bottom one looks fine, but the top one has pitting and little gouges in it.
So if anyone had the part # to it that would be awesome...
Thanks
-Mark

The whole drive gear/differential unit has two ROLLER bearings [one on each side].
The differential gears use the curved thrust washers.
They look OK, but there is no way to tell without seeing them hands on. So get new curved washers - no big deal.
The roller bearings will need to be pressed on, install new races, and the preload reset.

What do you mean here? what are races? and preload reset? why would the roller bearings have to be pressed on? mine slid right off....
And the curved thrush washer has bad pitting... pic doesn't do a justice... do you know the part # to the curved thrush washer?
