most ones ive seen tap it from the head (near the coil pack).
i really dont know how you plan on t-ing it off the oil sending unit as oil does not actually come out there. so basically what you would have is:
block : your connection : sending unit. i could see tons of problems with stuff possibly breaking off.

Yeah, there are two oil galleys in the driver side of the head. The threads are 1/8" NPT. There is one behind the coil and one above the thermostat housing. Just remove the plug from the one you want to use and run the line there. I T'eed into the one behind the coil for the turbo and the oil pressure gauge I installed.
You can see my oil line off the head here:

With inis's way, you have to grind down the thermostat housing. Could risk leaking coolant, but its the damn cleanest/closet fitting you can get!

Ya but the 300+ whp makes me have a monster PP that even you'll want, when all said and done.
Also I'm not using that CC for daily driving, just car shows. I'm running a contour cover with bit of modifying to it.. I'll post pictures when its done.

your most likely going to have oil pressure down low. i think the reason most people put it at the head is simply because you need to make sure oil is getting up to the head.
