Shipping via Greyhound?

I've seen a lot of people talk about shipping different things via greyhound and I was just wondering how the whole process worked.

in box then take it to greyhound have them scale it, they take it throw in on bus after you pay shipping and away it goes, the other person has to go to the greyhound station you sent it to, to pick it up

Interesting. Any insurance on the shipped product like you can get from FedEx/UPS?

I know it's a lot cheaper when shipping bigger items than shipping through FedEx or UPS. I got a quote through UPS to ship my EVO bumper and they wanted $190 just to ship it. Through Greyhound it would be around $60 or so.
