i was wondering just how hard it would be to do lambo doors on a zx2, or if it would even be possible. its just a stupid idea that i came up with, but i got to thinking about it and it sounds like it would look nice

They make the kits. Just do a google image search and you'll see 'em. I think they're ugly though. Was talking to zxwho about lambos and he said he had them on for a day and promptly took them back off

There are several zx2's with the lambo hinges. It's an acquired taste. Some like them, some don't. I do :) here's mine

Well my car is all show anyway, so that's why I have them/like them. To each their own is what I say.

I have had them on mine as well, you will need to get the 92-95 civic kit. I enjoyed them on my car but i sold mine due to my girlfriend being weak and not going to be able to open them buy herself. Plus i'm going another way with my car. They only taken me and my dad 1 1/2 hours for each door to put on. Now that we both know how to do it it would take less time

You don't have to get a civic kit to have lambo doors, it's just the cheaper way of doing it. If you want a good quality kit, you can get the EVO doors kit from JT Autostyle. On the other hand, you can go really cheap and get a set from ebay, but then you don't know if you are getting quality products.

Anyone looking for some, I have the same style as Dexter - quality stuff that I'm selling for about 1/2 what it cost me originally.

They could be. If you are holding a lot of stuff or have a kid, it wouldn't be wise. The doors open about 1/3 of the way out normally before you raise them up. A lot of the time I don't even raise the lambo's. I get out like that. If you're in a compact parking space it's convenient though lol. They do what they're supposed to do, that's to create looks and bump up the appearance of your ride. My car is my daily driver and I've gotten use to them. Still love the attention too.

how much do they cost usually and how much are they to get installed

To get a direct bolt on kit made for our car they're maybe a little over $1,000. You can find a civic kit for a good price on ebay. I paid about $600. It'll cost a couple hundred to get it installed professionally most likely but with a couple people you could do it yourself for free.

EVO would be referring to a brand name of the kit. Check out jtautostyle.com and look it up.

i would feel like a complete clown if my car was stock exterior and i had lambo doors. However if you had a nice kit on it and some nice rims and tires.. and the car looks good; you can get away with i :D
