I am ditching the a/c and was wondering what all needed to be pulled from underneath the dash. I am keeping the heat because it gets a little chilly at night, even in the summer.

honestly, the lines that come into the heater core are about it...and since they go into the heater core, i just cut the lines off at the firewall in the engine bay and left it at that...you might have 1/2 lb of stuff under the dash..if that.

the box that the evaporator is in is shared with the heater core, you are going to mess it up and not have heat if you try ripping it out, it weighs less than 7lbs, leave it at that remove all of teh stuff from the engine bay and you will be good..

For those who have removed the AC, what did you do to fill the holes in the firewall?
