when i put the key in the ignition the check engine light was flashing and making a beeping noise.when i turn the key it didnt crank or turn over.i think it is something electrical because the doors wouldnt lock and i have power locks but you could hear it moving but it still didnt lock.

check your grounds and try jump starting.

ill try doing that.when i got home from work, i tried starting it again. however, the check engine like was still beeping and my air fuel gauge was still on and it was wired to the 12volt source by the pcm to where it shouldnt have been on unless the key is on the "on" position.so i tried disconnecting the negative terminal and reconnecting it then the check engine light and the gauge light went off so i thought everything was normal but it still wouldnt start so i figured the battery was dead but then i noticed the check engine light and gauge lights were still on.so... back at square one??? HELP!!!!!!

Clean the battery contacts. Make sure the little black bastard box on the negative side of the battery is grounded well. It can cause all sorts of strange issues. You may also have an igntion switch issue. If you can use a volt/ohm meter, go the Knowledge Base and look for the 'Remote start and keyless entry' how-to. It describes how the ignition wires should read in different key positions.

even tho ur gauge lights come on, the battery could still be dead. It doesn't take much power to turn those lights on. Use a voltmeter on your battery and see how much juice is left.

Fuses?
yeah, if the electrical problems are limited to just a few things, and other things work fine, i'd start checking fuses. check the ones under your hood first, then the ones inside the car.
