for those of you guys who have odps, how did you get them off? I ordered one from ZXtuner and i am waiting for it to come (it is on back order). the other day i was lookin at the stock pulley and noticed that there is very little room to get tools in there to remove the bolt, i was just wondering if you guys had any tips that could maybe speed up the process.

Also if I have a powder UDP with the odp will i have any problems with the battery?

the ODP fixes the negative effects on the battery that the UDP causes

The alternator needs to be completely removed.

I think it would be smart to try and loosen the bolt first while attatched to the bealt and car... I took it off then realised that... no worries though, air impact tools FTW!!!

Definitely take out the alternator, that's why I didn't buy one. Another reason I bought the ZXTuner UDP instead of powders. After I installed the UDP I noticed my idle was still good and didn't need an ODP.

Should just have to loosen the belt, unbolt it, disconnect wires and yank it out. Then put it in a vice, pneumatic wrench the nut off, swap out pullies. Then assemble in reverse order, presto, your'e done.
