This is a great forum with alot of useful info about our cars and modding/repairing them. i think the time has come that we have an area in the site to do reviews of parts. This could save other members alot of money and headaches in the long run..

Do you think we need a review section?

IIRC there is a thread/sticky that is similar to this. This kind of thread is good for the NOOBs, unfortunately they do not always use the search. I am voting yes if we can keep the thread info only, no small talk or BS.

Make it a section with with parts sticky in the Knowledge Base area

Create sticky's that pertain to certain parts. Example: Throttle bodies.

In this sticky should be every throttle body that works or has been modded along with what it takes to make it work properly, possibly even current websites that carry parts needed or where to get these items at. The ones whom already have information along with pictures or their own "how to" (the best read, clear pic entry should go up) should post in these sticky's on how the project was done. Example: zx2fast posts a 4.6L TB "how to" and Chillinzx post a FC
65MM TB "how to" while Powder shows how to P-n-P one yourself..etc, etc. Only these people can "alter or correct" thier own posts to reflect ideas, changes or information that benifits the individuals "how to".

Then as normal threads go, people can post and ask questions pertaining to the above stickies. They can title each thread pertaining to what ever section or part they have questions for.

This type of section would benifit more than just newbs. It would benifit those of us who haven't gotten to a peticular mod/job yet. We always link a lot of "how-to's" from Cyberman's "myzx2.com" site so those could defintaly be added as well. Sir William could provide tons of information on wiring diagrams, JohnP has tons of info in his brain. We have some outstanding members with information that they get tired of having to explain to people. They can now put it down for all to see and use......

This is what I would like to see.....and I'd like to see some of the old timers and Mods actually get off their asses and make this happen. Mainly because they are the ones who have already figured out the good from the bad....:D

That's all I've got to say about that.......now go make it happen!!
