So I bought a 21mm rsb and was putting it on today and in the process, the head broke off both of my endlinks. The soonest I can get new ones is tomorrow at 10 am but I have to be at work at 8 am. Is it ok for me to drive with no rsb in? Or at least with the endlinks not connected? Thanks for any help.

It's ok to drive without the sway bar..just don't go anywhere near the car's limits.

You will find extreme understeer without a rear sway bar when you take corners hard. Nothing will change going in a straight line.

For normal driving you won't miss it.

be VERY cautious on any turns or lane changes... when in doubt.. slow down.. leave a few mins early ..take it a lil slower.. should be ok..

Most drift cars don't have an rsb.

half the older escorts or probes I see driving around had both there endlinks broken... doubt you'll notice anything.

I went for about five months with out one. My old one broke, and I kept shopping around for a new one.

It is a little mushy, doesn't handle as sharp. However it isn't that bad. Just go easy on it, and no sharp turns.

I highly don't recomend driving without a rsb. My friend/neighbor literally totaled his escort about 1-2months ago from trying to drive to school without a rsb and ended up in a guardrail on the highway(yes in rain). He was seriously traveling 65-70mph and i understand situations change but my recomandation is be safe and don't risk it.

^^ your friend FAILS. HARD. not only he doesnt know how to drive, but he also blames the fact he didnt have a RSB for the accident.

in fact, I found it was even better for winter driving without the RSB. my 98 was a winter car before I sold it and I removed it. just try it. its not as bad as people say.

I wasnt even able of e-brake slides without the RSB.

you just gotta adapt your driving to it.

I disconnect both ant-roll bars for ice racing.

It will feel gooshy in normal turns and lane changes, but it is perfectly safe if you are not under severe conditions.
As like iceracer says, he takes them OFF for certain racing conditions. Can't be too bad!

Just remember, the proper name for sway bar is anti-roll bar. In other words it helps to lesson the car to roll/lean in a turn. It serves no other purpose. The relationship of front and rear bars is a whole other subject.
