Ouuuuuuch....

I'm not even going to tell you guys what stupid stupid stupid (did I mention stupid?) think I did that caused this accident, but lets just say it involved me stopping a knife with my pinky finger. So we spent several hours yesterday in the ER (mosty waiting) for me to get stiched up. The nurse was a little worried about me too because my BP was so low. I don't do my own blood very well so when I got there it was 70/40, lol. By the time we left it was up to 87/54, so that was an improvement, I was feeling fine by then anyway!

Anyway, here's the pics. I got pretty deep into my pinky, probably clipped a nerve, had some tingling in my finger tip, but it's better today. I also managed to spare the joint, cut over it, but didn't actually cut into it. I have to wear a splint to keep from bending my finger for the next 10 days, and it hurts like hell. Doesn't help that I keep hitting it on everything.

At least you didn't do too much damage. Looks like it hurts a ton. Could be worse- my dad stuck his hand in a running snowblower once...

Yes, very glad I didn't do more damage, I wasn't sure when it first happened. All I know is that after I cut it, I bent my finger and it flapped open. That was enough for me. I didn't look at it again until just before the sutures went in and it was no longer pouring blood.

Thank goodness Drew was home or else I would have been in trouble. No way I could have driven, I was barely standing! lol Such a wuss I know.

ouch that looks pretty painful. Im a wuss when i see my own blood as well. I could see another person's arm get ripped out and it wouldnt faze me, but i get a paper cut or something, and I'll pass out.
