So I replaced a side mirror and of course this called for removing the interior door panel. Did that, installed, put most of it back together. Got the door panel on and all the screws, however most of the bottom of the door panel is held onto the inside of the door with white plastic "pins" I would call them. Anyway, I don't see an easy way to get them back on - with all 4 or 5 of them in place it seemed I needed all of them to line up at the same time which I couldn't do. Then I resolved to just do one on either side - so when I tried to bang them into place they just bent over or fell back. Consequently, the bottom of the door panel is loose. Any ideas?

Also, with the window crank, I've got the pin and the crank. I understand how it fits, but I can't quite seem to get everything to line up to where I can pop the pin back into place. Is there a technique to it or just hope that you get it?

Oh, and a non-related stupid-q - what's the name of the (exterior) panel located around the top portion of the front wheel well and extends out to behind the headlight? Mine got all bashed in in and unfortunate incident I won't go into, and I was debating about replacing it. Maybe. Since it looks like shit.

Thanks in advance.

That piece is called a header panel.

I didn't really have a problem banging the bottom of the door panel back in when I replaced my speakers. It snapped right back into place easily. For the window crank. There's the metal pin, the crank, and the connector on the door. Put the pin back in the crank, then put the crank on the door and it will go right on and stay in place.
