Oh... one of those.
Yes, kinda like a fancy POTs. It mainly changes the throttle position sensor reading so part throttle reads like full throttle to the computer. IAT anad ECU are apparently changed as well.
I would not mess with it. If you want power, use POTs and step on the gas all of the way.

when i first got my zx2 back in 2002, i bought one of these. total rip off. i paid $300 plus shipping and handling to hawaii which costs more for a pots mod. fooken ghey! i wish i would of known the kind of products venom sells then.

Yeah, if you want a good POTs mod, go to ZXTuner. Rob has a pretty slick POTs box. That thing is a hunk of junk, especially for the price you could get some other form of tuning and get much better results.

i saw it on ebay for 50 bucks but didn't buy because it does not get rid of the speed governor.

Neither does the black box, but at least the black box is going to do it's job a lot better than that thing...
