Are financial courses difficult?
Reason being I'm transfering from Harrisburg Area Community College into a PA State Higher Education school (Millersville) with an Associates in Business, and tons of my courses from HACC fit into the Finance major. I would only require about another 39 credits or so from the 4-year school in order to get my bachelors, and since Financial stuff is demand these days, I thought that might be a better move than just straight Administration.
This interested me because I was thinking (and I'm admitted into) going for Environmental Geography next semester, and getting a Finance Minor, maybe even a CAD Minor, but if I'm less than a year away from a much more high salary job in Finance...well...I could also go back to school for Geography when I'm making the big bucks!
Problem is, I didn't excel at Accounting all that much. Barely passed. I'm much better at understanding theory and applying it to decision making then I am "doing the books".
Thoughts?
