The Pittsburgh Penguins!!!

Okay, so I'm not just saying this because I'm from Pittsburgh, or wait... maybe I am... But seriously, they pretty much have to be the best team in the NHL. Now that doesn't mean we're going to win the cup for sure, but we've got the best shot I think. Thoughts on this? :rocknana:

They definatley have one hell of a powerhouse team this year - I was really surprised when they picked up Hossa, that was huge. I have a bit of a bias towards u guys this year (I'm from Ottawa:pissednana: ) But I can certainly respect what a well rounded team they have now.

yeah i was there last night and i can definitely say they are playing nearly flawless and although detriot and dallas are both tough, they definitely have a legit chance assuming they take care of philly a few more times

Yeah, Will, thanks for the kind comments, but Pittsburgh just embarrassed Ottawa this year, much the same as you guys embarrassed us last year. =P As for the flyers, all they know how to do is crash the net and score dirty goals, we actually scored all of our points last night with legit scoring chances and just "smoked" biron. Being Canadian I'm an expert on these things lol.

I honestly think that both Detroit and Pitsburgh have a chance this year. They are both very well rounded teams and IMO the winner of the series between Detroit and Pitsburgh (assuming neither team chokes this round) will largely depend on the goaltending efforts. The team with the hottest goaltender WILL win the series.

He needs to stay in the crease more. He goes outside a little to much, and that where he's gonna get burned. He is an outstanding goalie. One of the best young guns ive seen in awhile.

Ehhhh. They have Fedorov since this season. Thats good if we can go up against the red wings. Fedorov goes WAY back. We can handle Madano and the stars.
