View Full Version : So what does a zx2 throw on the G scale
Anybody have a clue. Always just wondered what it did. If you could tell what stock and if you had modded suspension might do that would be cool

I think when the sr was in magazines it registered like a 1.02?

A lot depends on suspension and TIRES.

I have seen 0.97 to 1.01 g's very consistently on my G-Timer. I was using Kumho V710's while autocrossing. I have not done any skid pan testing.

R comp tires such as the V710's will increase the G's. An autocross is not the best place to measure G's. The turns are too sharp and short duration. A skid pad is th only true way to measure G's.

From Motor Trend on the 97 test car. "averaging 67.0 mph through the 600-foot slalom and 0.78 g around the 200-foot skidpad."
.87 on the S/R from several sources.
