SVT Focus Intake Manifold

Now i swear there was information on things we would need or possible problems when swapping this into our engine bays. It probably was on the old site. So im wondering if people have the info on it?

youhave to run an rpm window switch to actuate the varialbe runner portion of t intake in our cars .. its just an rpm window switch (pill box) wired in as the ecu controlled that on the svt.. iirc its a lil bit tight and the vac connedctions were a lil diff.. cant remeber if you can use the zx2 tb.. i belive you could .. if not it would be the same as moding a focus central tb...

So we would probably have to run the SVT focus throttle cables then, being they might be at a different length due to the tb location?

The Zx2 TB will not fit.

the PCM has a switch for a dual runner intake...so maybe SCT can control it.

Part numbers for the SVT manifold :

Upper Manifold: 2M5Z-9424-BC / $198.00

Lower Manifold: 2M5Z-9424-BB / $51.00

The TB is 63.5MM , the base is 95MM square , not much will fit the manifold without an adapter . When the SVT lower manifold is bolted to the ZX2/ZX3 head , the ports are mis-matched . The SVT head has a higher angle port then the stock Zetec's . The Old Ford Racing manifold fits the same way ,the New manifold has the mount holes re-located so the ports match .
