So, where did all you guys route your amp wires? I.E., where is a usable hole in the firewall? Right now, mine goes up under the fender then into the cabin under the kick panel(?) .. the piece that is under the door after you open it... basically, I need to reroute it, cause it looks ugly and it could be damaged. how hard is it to get it under the carpet also?

take off the drivers side wheel, take down the splash guard

This will expose the main harness. Run your wire through there. It will drop the wire right behind your fuse box. Then run the wire back the car as usual.

This is the best way.

Or you can drill a small hole and put a grommit through it. Take care doing this however, bit risky.

im running 0 gauge with 1 battery.

Is that the main battery or +1? 0 ga isn't necessary for just a battery.

i recommend using 1/0awg with anything over 1000w rms because the price dif between 4awg and 1/0 is not that much plus with 1/0 there is plenty of room for upgrades

how hard would it be to hook up a 1/0 guage from the alternator to a second battery in the trunk? its either run a second battery or have a huge capacitor, maby 3 farad or so.
i have an 1800 watt sub amp and a 400 watt 4 channel amp.
