mods that run great

so i bought my car for 200 bucks with a bad tranny. now almost a year later she runs great and looks even better.my mods so far are
30lbs injectors
80mm maf
21mm rsb
cold air intake
2.25 exhaust
short throw
sniper tune
drop zone springs
17 wheels with 205/45/17's
knock mod
wide band for tuning
and thats all i can think of for now but its amazing how little it cost to make these car respectable so whats everyone else have done to theres

Why oh why do you have 30lb injectors? With the mods you have, you really don't need it, nor the bigger MAF. The MAF isn't a bad idea, since the stock one is pretty skinny, but it's not like you were even close to maxing it out.

What intake do you have? Tuning does a lot for the Z, so it's good you have that. You had your car tuned for the MAF and injectors right? If you didn't, your AF ratio is going to be way off.

Not as much as you, just Kami Header, Ebay 3" intake, custom exhaust. Just wondering why you went with 30lb injectors and a 80mm maf? I mean thats turbo size modifications. You dont list any head work, so really unless your plans are turbo later on, i say you waisted your money.

He probably just put the injectors and MAF in because he plans to boost it.

NO need at all for larger injectors and larger MAF right now.

yes i do plan to turbo it probly in a week or so just waiting on a oil line to come in and while street tuning the old stock maf was at about 4.7 volts and it maxes out at 5. yes i has been tuned did a little more tuning tonight and wow she runs great but the reason i put them in already is because i wanted to make sure that the parts worked before i went turbo

If you were close to pegging your MAF with those mods, something was wrong. You're not going to get close to pegging it with an intake and exhaust (really the only breathing mods you have). Now, if you had cams and some other stuff.... Yeah, new MAFs are good.

But since you're going turbo, it makes sense.
