Swapable rotors

So I was wondering if A civic's rotors will swap with our's... Cause I know the bolt pattern is the same (4x100) but IDK about the hub... Cause they make many big brake kits for the civics... and I just got to thinking... I see them on ebay every once in a while and was wondering if they would work with our car... I might just have to buy a cheap stock rotor first and check fitment and then let you guys know.

But if anyone else knows the answer that would be great!

with the big brake kits its not really the rotors that are your main concern. It's how you will bolt up the caliper if the brackets don't match up, you would have to fab them. I'm sure it could be made to work with enough time and money. But yeah, I would say the rotors are the least of your worries, they will probably fit on to the hub fine, the calipers I'm sure won't bolt up without some modification.

I'm not worried about the calipers as much as the rotors... my brother has a welder and will get guns for it sometime... I could make brackets... but as far as the rotors go, if they don't fit then the whole idea is thrown out the window... hm... might just have to get a spare civic rotor sometime to check it out...

Even if the rotor fits, is it just as easy to ask for the correct one than the wrong one.
But if the rotor goes on OK, it has nothing to do with the calipers and mounting of the pads.
Use stock parts. Plain cheap rotors, and I like Hawk HPS pads.

he's talking about using a big brake kit from a civic and fabbing it up for the zx2. In which case if you have a larger rotor that won't fit in the caliper it will have a lot to do with it if I'm not mistaken.
