yea, i went and bought some from summit, sprayed and it didnt work right, turns out it was SPRAY TINT!!! how do i get it off????

Buster

Nightshades IS spray tint.

You can probably use paint thinner to remove it.

Apparently you can also get VHT nightshade from the summit racing store. They have them on the shelves so I would assume that you could also have them delivered to your house. $12.99 a bottle. Plus shipping would make it more than picking it up at your local parts store so Id shop around first. But I live less than 15 mins from the place so thats where Ill get mine from. Question though: what grit sand paper should you use to sand the lenses? Also, you should sand before you spary the nightshade then after it dries right? Then spray clear?

Anyone got pics of this stuff (in use)? I wasted 40 bucks on some covers off ebay, and they didn't work anyways.

I went to advanced, autozone and they didn't even know what I was talking about. I found two ricer shops that had it and a rim place. You just have to do alot of running around. Or just buy online.

No, don't soak it for a week and it'll be fine.

i know this question is lil noobish but i spray the inside of the cover with the night shade 3-4 coats? then put how many coats of clear do i put on?

Buster
06-20-2008, 10:56 AM
You COULD go the insides, then you wouldn't have to clear them, but baking...seperating...then resealing the lights is too much work for this job.

Just spray the outsides, wet sand between coats if necessary, then slap a few coats of clear on.
