motorcraft AZFS-22C these are copper core, one heat range colder than stock. gap them to 0.035" to prevent spark blow-out.

Would it hurt to put colder plugs/copper plugs on a n/a engine?

yes, the plugs have to reach a certain temperature to operate correctly. unless you have a high compression motor there is no need for them in a n/a motor
to the o.p. the motorcraft plugs are labeled as SP463 at most part stores ($1.68 @ advance)
you can get also get denso iridium plugs in colder ranges:
itv16-stock range
itv20-1 step colder
itv22-2 steps colder
itv24-3 steps colder
itv27-4 steps colder
ngk has some too their part numbers are hard to come by. i believe LZTR6AIX-13 and LZTR6AIX-11 work for the zetec i just don't now what heat range they compared to stock

I wonder if we could use the E3 Spark plugs, cause I did some searching on them and they have colder plugs. And I found onein the E3 to match the motorcraft plugs.
I have 24's for my build , not cheap plugs. Figured I'd run something else to start with, then once closer into my tune.. i'll swap them in.
I take it back I dont have itv 24's , I have NGK's part number : PLTR6A-10G , these are a premium platinum, wire tip , pre set to .040 , with a heat range of 6 , hottest being 2, coldest being 11
Also note the ngk's are longer above the seat, because the middle section is a bit longer (2mm maybe?)
these ngk's are about 15.00 individually bought, or a set of 4 can be had for around 30.00
Pictures of these vs the sp463's:

I have a set of ITV27's , I only really run them when I know i'm running the car hard. Since I drive daily I use the motorcrafts .. if I used the 27's they would foul as they are rated for something I don't push daily.

Anything but platinum plugs, they like to melt.

I go with the Motorcraft AZ-22's and gap them to 0.28"...motor sees 15 psi typically with short bursts of 18 psi..inexpensive, easy to find, and problem free for me.
