Just driving along minding my own business, when this little PT Cruiser kept pacing me. He would speed up and slow down the whole cat and mouse game. Finally after about 5 minutes of this the cat decided to pounce. I gave him a quick blip of the throttle and shifted down to 2nd at about 50. He stepped on the little turd, and I see the back hunch down for a second. I lay into the loud pedal, with a chirp of my tires I was off. I watch the tach wind out to 7k and bang 3rd, with a slight backfire LOL, I need to get my MILS turned off, I start to wind the tach out again. I see headlights dropping back and back, so I let up at about 85 and his little FI 4 banger is a distant memory.

The property manager at our new place says hers will spin through 2nd gear on the highway. I'm thinking, yeah if the road is wet.

they're based off the srt4 motor and frame. I believe it, I have several friends who have that bad ass motor.

I haven't seen any SRT-4 that can easily burn all of 2nd gear on a downshift in factory form. Not only that, but the PT GT is an automatic. That would be closer to 3rd gear in a 5-speed.

they came in a manual form and auto. Auto was just more common.
