Alrighty, snagged this baby up the other day. I am running one of these also, because they are half the price of NGP0 and better then CWQ3. That is right folks, LXQ1 indeed dynoed higher in HP then CWQ3, and does not require premium gas. It is the 2nd best PCM out, and NGP0 is the only one better, but double the price and rare as hell. Anyways, this is for sale for $150 shipped, or best offer. I haven't seen one for sale for a while so I'm not really sure the price.

AGAIN. THIS IS THE 2ND BEST PCM FOR THE ZX2. AND STILL GREAT FOR FUEL ECONOMY.

If I'm not mistake the dyno's were on my car as it was my LXQ1...It did indeed dyno well just a tad lower then NGP0.

I didn't do anything I was just there haha. I don't even think I paid for my dyno time. I'm also pretty certain it had the same power curve as the NGP0 too could be wrong.

Nobody did until we dyno'd my car. I did run good times for my mods and I'm pretty sure that PCM had a lot to do with it. 9.6 8th mile with jba, dual side exhaust, essy udp, and iceman and of course the best mod I ever did pots.

Naw it's not an S/R PCM. I got an LXQ1 in my base model 2001 ZX2.. Unfortunately I had already gone out and got a NGP0 before we knew how good the LXQ1 is..

Seeing as how the S/R PCM NGP0 gained over LXQ1 I don't know what you are asking. Is it really worth it to drop any other S/R PCM other then GRS0 no. If you really want to make as much out of the PCM you will end up getting a SCT chip anyways. For a nice upgrade to an existing CWQ3 or other PCM it might be.

HAHA! Well Ford Racing and zxtuner.com would have come out a lot better selling the LXQ1 then that crap GRS0. My friends woodyzx2 had almost all the mods I did except a Kami instead of the zxtuner 4-2-1 and with the GRS0 made 108whp with pots it jumped up I think 20whp.

Zxtuner.com sells the Ford Racing PCM and it is GRS0...so I don't know how they got a hold of a NGP0. I do know that the GRS0 is an update for the NGP0.

I probably bought it before the "update" then, because I bought it back when very little was known about NGP0 and most people thought it was no match for the regular S/R codes..

LXQ1 is from a 2001, so it is not an S/R. However, the only PCM better then it is NGP0, which is usually double this price. With NGP0, you also have to run 91 octane, which is 20 cents more a gallon. With this, you can run 87.

It dynoed better horsepower then all other pcm's except NGP0, so IT IS BETTER THEN CWQ3 and SAVE MONEY ON GAS.

yeah...when i went from my LXQ1 to my NGP0 i didn't feel the gains other people did LOL. honestly, it was an awesome pcm...i wish i would have kept mine in case the NGP0 died.

^the LXQ1 was one of the many pcm's that came in the 2001 zx2's. mine was one of them that came with it. it's just a stock pcm...but it's quite a bit more aggressive than the others. like i said, when i went from LXQ1 to NGP0, i didn't notice as huge a difference i thought i would...because the LXQ1 wasn't that shitty to start with.

This is most likely a good increase as far as the zx2 is concerned probably about as good as an udp.

sorry imma bit confused... i have a 2000 S/R... would i benefit at all by swappn pcms with the lxq1??? and if i would.. and ur all probly gonna laugh at me for this but would it further help with the sct system or would i be better off jus goin with the sct

If you already have an s/r, I wouldn't waste the money for the 2 hp increase, unless you really want.

SCT is great, but not for everyone. I took mine off.

You will benefit from the LXQ1 if you have a GSR0 but if you have a CWQ3, it would be $125 (Hell, I'll take $100 shipped) for like 2-3 hp and a better torque curve.
