no cadence anymore? :(
SeRiousZX2
06-02-2008, 08:55 AM
Yup, but my supplier has had problems keeping it in stock. Some kind of "lack of communication" between the two. I can get it but it would be by special order. Trust me, I love Cadence!!! But I only include brands that I know are readily in stock at all times. It cuts down the delay.

screw delay, I'd wait for some cadence!! :rocknana:

I fell the same way. But many don't. Anytime you want some, let me know and I'll place an order for you.

I have not heard the new 2008s but I can say that I have never heard an RE sub that was horrible. Assuming its placed in a correct box.

yes, RE Audio = resonant engineering...
and yes, I'd also like a quote on a 12" XXX, also a 10" XXX, and 10" SL, and 12" SL... To be honest, I won't be purchasing any subs any time soon unless they're absolutely gorgeous prices, in which case I'll sell my alpine R's to my buddy and snag a couple of these instead

Once again, SeRious delivers some SeRiously amazing prices. You may be hearing from me about some XXX 12's soon. What amp would you recommend to power 2 of these? o_O

Thanks!
With it being 1600 watts RMS I would run 2 U.S Amps. Either the MD2D ($399) or the XT4000D ($270).
If you wanted just one amp for both subs: Alphasonik PMA1200DA ($520), Planet Audio RXD2400 ($430), PowerBass XA3000D ($570)
Fat_Dave

can you get me a shipping quote for one 12 inch XXX to 08029 and also what is the RMS on one of them?
Thanks again

I will have to get the weight of it to calculate it. I will work on that today.
RMS is 1600 watts.
Fat_Dave
06-09-2008, 12:28 PM
wow 1600 for 1sub? On their website it says it weighs 72 lbs
SeRiousZX2
06-09-2008, 03:59 PM
Yup, the thing is a beast. Shipping is going to be a killer for many. Shipping a 75 pound box aint cheap.
I can't ship it through the USPS due to the weight. I would have to ship UPS.
Which is $64 UPS Ground.

I'm working on it right now. Should know by the end of the week if this supplier is worth a crap. I require that they send me price sheets before I agree to be on thier distribution list. They seem pretty good.....

Interesting. I'm sure my notes are wrong but I have it listed at 2500 watts max and 1600 RMS.
US Amps MD3D: $580

Hey, I'm looking to get a single 10" RE SE sub. A dual 2 ohm I believe. I've got a JBL Grand Touring 600 Watt mono block that is rated somewhere around 560 continuous at 4 ohms.
Think that'd be a good fit?
I've also got a couple of standard sealed boxes. Can ig et away with using one of those for that sub?
dragon2200
06-20-2008, 11:22 AM
Honestly that would be major waste of sub capability, but it would power it none the less. 560 is a quarter of it's rated power.

06-20-2008, 11:31 AM
Oh? I thought I read that the SE was about 600 watts RMS. I may be mistaken...

Sadly, my supplier is dropping RE Audio and US Amps.
RE Audio wants to sell directly, which is a horrible move. They will see sells going down and lose money.

Only if they decide to market thier stuff out again. Which they probably will when they start to show a lost in profits.
As of right now you can only get thier stuff direct from thier website. You guys will also pay retail.... :violin:

Give me 2 more days. The guy that approves all new accounts was out of state. He gets back today, so I should hear back tomorrow.
Its such a pain in the butt. They have to run a business credit check on you and you have to supply 4 refrences from other suppliers....
