I want new headlight bulbs, other than stock. Here is what I want,a clean white light.I would like it to be whiter than the stock light.I dont want purple,or super blue lights, slightly blue would be ok.Anyway, what is a common replacement bulb that would do such?HID lighting just is not in my budget right now.

What's your budget? DDM Tuning HIDs are cheap but great quality and pretty good service. Several of us here have dealt with these guys and can vouch for the product.

I have DDM HIDs and they are pretty good. Lots brighter than stock. With Silverstars, I was kinda expecting more from them with all the good reviews I read. I got Silverstars for my fogs and they did get brighter and whiter, but not by a ton. Maybe their headlights are better? But DDM HIDs are nice for the cost.

If you have had the bulbs in for awhile, they can lose some of their brightness. I love my Silverstars, but I exposed the bulb to the reflective surface of the housing by bumping the diffuser (egg shaped thingy over the front of the bulb inside the housing) out when I had my lights open for black housings. I get flashed by oncomers occaisionally (rare) tho.

The DDM kit costs exactly the same as Silverstar bulbs.
Install?
1)Unplug bulb
2)Remove bulb
3)Install new HID bulb
4)plug the power wire into the stock wire (the one you unplugged in step 1)
5)plug the other end of the power into the ballast.
6)plug the ballast into the HID bulb
Done.

Do some digging around here to see if you want the hi/low kit or not. I think more of us will recommend it than not.
Also, the Raptor brand work fine and will save you a lot of money.

http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=102&parent=85wow,thats pretty simple.I thought that HID kits were expensive. No problems with the plastic lense gettin to hot or wires melting with these.

Just get the 35... the 55 may get too hot, and trust me.... you don't need it. 35 is plenty bright.
