What do you guys think about about an automatic 88 ford thunderbird turbo coupe? There is one for sale near me and its supposed to be in excellent condition inside and out with 70000 original miles on it. The guy is asking $1900 for it. Has anyone owned or driven one of these? If so what are your thoughts about them? thanks

buy it!!!!! that car is badass ive driven a red one before and the power it has is amazing! the only concern i would have is that it had been sitting for awhile bc it has such low milage so i would have the struts n bearing and steering checked on it bc you could run into some money replacing it all

does anyone know if its for sure the same 2.3 that was in the svo mustang? i've been looking for aftermarket parts for the turbo coupe but i can't find anything. i'm having trouble finding any information at all really on this car. and the people that like the turbo coupe and say its fun is that an automatic that you've been in or the 5 speed because the automatic is dumbed down to 150hp and the 5 speed is 190 so thats gonna make a huge difference. thanks for your thoughts guys

The SVO and TC are the same 2.3 with mild changes.
