So i've been deff looking at cars lately since im tired of the stock Z.
i had a 240sx which i sold since i didnt have time and space.
but now that i moved i have a garage and nothing but time :rocknana:
but what i'm not sure about its getting a 4-door like a mazda3 etc.
or go back to a coupe? another 240sx for example.
i'm 17 and i drive the Z who is in my stepmoms name and her insurance.
practically her car but i drive it. lol
i want your guys opinions
on either a nice 4 door care that i need to make payments on
orrr a coupe that i need to pay 354543542532$ insurance in.
is it worth it?

No. Get a beater, save your money, go to school, get a good job, buy a house, keep saving money, buy a really nice car, retire. Feel free to add kids and girls/boys to suit your tastes.

keep the beater. Go to college. get a good job (17 yo jobs are not good ones). What your parents have wont mean squat when your 18, so get your own house after the school an good job. Play your cards right and you could have something far better than a 15 year old Nissan.
I was 19 with a red S2k paying $200 a month on my own insurance policy. How on earth is your good job preventing you from affording basic coverage on a old Nissan??????

Ok, so you make around 15 an hour before taxes? That still isn't much.

Take the advice of others and save money. At your age, a newer car will kill you on insurance. Also, don't assume you'll have that job for the life of the car loan, especially if you're going to college later. Live comfortably.
You can get a nice car used without killing yourself to pay for it.
