About to start on a competition sound system and figured i might as well keep a worklog on it. Im hoping to have the whole thing done in 2 months or less, but well see. Even though the high/mid equipment has nothing to do with what ill be competing for ill list what i already have first.

1. infinity reference 6010cs 6 1/2 component set
2. infinity reference 9612i 6x9s
3. infinity reference 7540a 4 channel amp 111x4 rms
4. jensen multimedia head unit with 7" touch screen (temporary, to be replaced by an alpine head unit sometime)

As far as what i have for my subs, i wont list that because its coming out anyway probably today sometime. But here are my plans.

1. 2 cerwin vega stroker 122s dual 2 ohm voice coil 12s
2. 2 hifonics brutus bxi2407d amps 2400 watts rms@ 1 ohm
3. all custom box trunk only, not taking out back seat
4. 50 farad capacitor
5. probably 4 deep cycle batteries
6. all new electrical charging system

So thats my plan. Im hoping to get high 150s to low 160s from this build.

good luck getting 150's from 2 CV 12's and hifonics amps.

what brand of capactior are you going for if you are going 50 farad? It doenst look like you are gonna splurge for the alumapro based on the equip you listed earlier.

what are you doing for an all new electrical charging system?

good luck though. my goal is a modest 145-148 with a single custom made 15 and 3000rms in a 4 cube box tuned low for daily.
