lights for the speed cluster isnt working help ASAP Please

Ok So there was on the old site when installing my gauges the wires for the little dimmer got cut, well some people said there was a fuse inside the dimmer switch so I went and got another. When I put it in nothing happened. They still dont work and another that happen from the wires being cut is the light that have to be on at night dont work(aka day light), so its a risk for me driving at night. If you know how to fix this please help me

im confused... you cut a wire from your dimmer. and now your guages (stock) don't light up... so reconnect the dimmer wire. if the dimmer isn't wired correctly nothing will work

ok the speedometer lights dont work and the running back lights dont work when I turn on the head lights, so when I am driving at night I cant see how fast I am going and the people behind me hcant see me. I didnt mean to cut the dimmer switch but it happen I reconnected it with the new one and it still wouldnt work. I was wondering if there could have been a fuse I had blown in the fuse box insade the car or under the hood.

Check the METER and TAIL fuses in the cabin fusebox.
