I myself play tuba and electric bass, but these are still pretty cool:

Some of his facial expressions in this one are hilarious:

The remix songs are old news to me but they're still cool. I'm digging the snare stuff and the set thing is pretty crazy. I'm pretty involved in the marching percussion activity so it's always fun to watch a celeb on a marching drum.

I love The Transplants, +44, and used to be the biggest Slipknot fan ever...

But Neil Pert, drummer for Rush, one of the best drummers ever...

He also did the spinning thing way before those guys were around.

I think the top 3 drummers are indeed Neil Pert, the slipknot drummer, and Travis Barker. They all 3 do pretty amazing things, but Neil is the best I think. All this shit sounds really good too.

Wrong, Charlie Antolini, John Bonham, and Chad Smith/Travis Barker. I give it a close call between those two.

I think Mike Mangini deserves mention here also. Recognized as one of the worlds fastest drummers and set a record of 1203 single stroke beats in a minute

Just because somebody is a fast drummer doesn't mean they are a good drummer. Sure listening to a guy hit a drum 1200 times a minute would be cool but... Can he play a session that would keep your eyes glued to the drum set for 20 minutes without blinking.

watch his drum solo videos, Then tell me what you think. You're right, being fast and being able to play a session are two different things. He has played for a few different bands including Steve Vai. Here is a video of him with a 9 minute solo. Not the 20 minutes you were talking but if you watch the video you can see he is a legit drummer.

Now don't get me wrong, I love Rush and Neil Pert is a kick ass drummer, same with John Bonham (his kid isnt bad either) but I was just saying there are some lesser names that could be mentioned as great drummers also. Charly Antolini is a great drummer too but the style is what is different, jazz vs. rock. Its not really comparable. As a drummer though he is phenominal.

You've got some good points and I'd watch the video if my work computer had speakers. As far as my personal style I'd much rather hear jazz drumming any day over rock.

work computers = no bueno! lol. For me its a matter of mood, some times I just want to kick back and relax a bit so I will throw on some nice jazz, this usually works good for me in rush hour traffic. Keeps me sane. Most of the time tho, I really want to get my adrenaline pumping and just listen to some good rock, when I am out driving around it needs to be something fast and heavy.
