Possible problem?

Lately I have been noticing that I can feel like something is clunking or knocking when I have my hand on the shift knob. I then put it in neutral and while rolling I could hear something knocking the faster I went. Any ideas?

Standard or manual....manual check the flywheel housing for a dropped bolt (only because I had a car with something in the flywheel housing before......)

Could be cv's starting to go, something inside the diff or tranny, something loose on the frame or mounts.............try putting the front end up on some stands and visually inspecting it. Maybe there's a dead cat hanging underneath your ride or something.......

mine making similar noise-- traced out to CV joints, seeing a bit of movement that shouldnt be there

Just got new bearings and cv joints less than a month ago so it shouldnt be that.

Its a manual, it doesnt make the clunk when im not moving so im beginning to think its something with the tranny.
