I use the factory armrest that came as a option on the ' 96-'97 Escort/Tracer . The ZX2 uses the same rear console so it's a natural fit . When your looking for parts in a yard , look at all the Escort/Tracers . The armrest can be found in 4DR sedans and wagons , maybe a ZX2 someone installed.

There's no need to fiberglass the whole interior. Most of the parts you scuff, spray adhesion promoter and spray high build primer on. Then sand the primer and base/clear.
